Construction Updates

Construction of the Merced Avenue Greenway, a watershed-based design that integrates stormwater capture, water quality improvements, habitat restoration and pedestrian and cyclist amenities, began January 8, 2024. When completed by the end of the year, this Project will demonstrate a “scalable model” that can be replicated both within the City of South El Monte and the region.
